Ten years of sustainability told through concrete results, investments, innovation, and social responsibility. With its 2025 Impact Report, Ponti celebrates ten years since it first published its sustainability report, confirming a journey that began in 2015 and has gradually evolved into an integrated vision for the company. Economic growth, environmental protection, the empowerment of people, and regional development come together in a strategic, sustainable, and transparent model. The company, a leader in the Italian market for vinegars and vegetable preserves, has strengthened its commitment over the years by becoming a Benefit Corporation in 2021, obtaining B Corp certification in 2023, and earning UNI/PdR 125/2022 in 2024.
“For us, sustainability has never been a public relations exercise, but rather a way of understanding our corporate culture and our role in society,” emphasizes Vice President Lara Ponti. Ten years ago, we chose to report on our impact because we believed that transparency, accountability, and measurability were essential tools for building lasting value. Today, this conviction is even stronger: it means investing in the quality of the workplace, in pay equity, and in opportunities for growth; valuing the contributions of young people and women; promoting models of the circular economy and regenerative innovation; and fostering a shared corporate culture capable of generating positive impacts on the entire economic and social fabric.”
“The milestone of the tenth anniversary of our first Impact Report marks an important chapter in our corporate history,” says Chairman Giacomo Ponti. “Over the years, we have demonstrated that sustainability and competitiveness can grow hand in hand. We continue to invest in industrial innovation, quality, safety, efficiency, and international expansion, while always keeping our connection with the people and the communities where we operate at the forefront.”
